Unique Fairbanks Baby Scale

This is a very neat find! Original Fairbanks baby scale. The spiders are made for a shaped pan such as the one I have. The scale is very stable and in working condition. Note the double beam and in back there is a counter for tare. This makes a very neat display for a special OB/GYN or a mothers day gift. Or, bring the neighbors baby over and see if it works..great way to meet the them! New cream paint that came out great! (okay..I have marked this one on the calendar..it came out right the FIRST time!) Fairbanks Original Counter Platform Scale

Immaculate working condition!  This is DEAD on accurate.  Perfect for an 1800's reproduction store.  With some painting you would have a scale that is almost as new.  I have had this apart and have gone through it.  Complete set of original weights.  The agates and mechanisms are SOLID and have lots of use left on them!  Email me for more neat pictures of this scale if interested in purchasing.  $315 1/2 shipping in US
